2025 Athlete Development Fund

The Kootenay Freewheelers Cycling Club is pleased to announce a $1000 support fund for athlete development for 2025. The award will be shared between the successful applicants.

Interested athletes can apply to kootenayfreewheelers@gmail.com by June 27th, 2025 with an email briefly explaining your competition program and how you have or will meet the eligibility criteria, which are as follows:

-Be a 2025 Freewheelers Club Member

-Under 23 years of age as of Dec 31 2025

-Compete at 2025 Canadian National Cycling -Championships in any discipline

-Volunteer to coach/assist one or more sessions in the Youth program (unless a current participant)

Successful applicants will be asked to provide a short post for club social media following their national championships participation, and the award will be disbursed after criteria have been met.
