About the event
* Equipment drop off: May 2nd 4:00pm-7:00pm (full working bikes, clothing, armour, bags, bottles, larger bike parts--seats, handlebars, pedals, etc.). Freewheelers takes 20% of the sales, with a $200 maximum commission per item.

* Swap: May 3rd 9:00am-11:00am

* Pick-up of gear or cheques: May 3rd 12:00pm-1:30pm ***You MUST be there in this time to collect or else it will be considered a donation!!****

We will have coffee by donation starting at 8:00am on May 3rd. We are taking biking clothing, armour, bottles, some parts, full WORKING bikes only, NO helmets!

A 20% commission to a maximum of $200 per item will be taken off an item sale price. (See following bullet for clarification.)

Items priced over $1000: The Freewheelers will only charge $200 commission. e.g. if you sell an item for $2000 you get $1800 and the club gets $200

All funds raised, after paying for swap expenses, will go towards the Kootenay Freewheelers Club and its programs.

Kootenay Freewheelers Club, affiliated sponsors & volunteers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items however we are committed to minimizing these risks by ensuring that all items are tagged, catalogued and verified when sold.

Bicycles, bike clothing, armour, bike packs, larger bike parts (seats, handlebars, pedals, etc.), and bottles may be consigned for sale. Only complete bikes will be accepted.

No helmets or small bicycle parts will be accepted.
​

Items cannot leave the sales floor once consigned.

Entry to the bike swap is not permitted during the consignment period.

Bicycles consigned should be in good working order and clean. No broken or damaged items please.

Our club members will do a general inspection of all bicycles received. Kootenay Freewheelers Club reserves the right not to accept bicycles that appear damaged. No cleaning facilities available for bikes.

Our club members will be on hand to answer general questions regarding bicycle sizing etc.

Customers will not be permitted to try on clothing in washrooms.

Items cannot be placed “on hold” during the swap.

All sales are “as is”.

All sales are final. No refunds will be given.

Prices for items cannot be changed by the seller during the swap without the approval of the bike swap accountant.

All sales can be paid with credit card, debit, or cash (maximum cash transaction: $500)

All unsold bicycles, bike clothing, bike packs and bottles must be picked up during the designated pick up hours on the swap day. Unsold items require a consignment chit for pick-up. Bicycles and other items left will be considered a donation to the Kootenay Freewheelers Club. You must come in person to find out if your bicycles and/or other items have been sold.

Payments for sold bicycles and/or other items will be issued to the name on the consignment form. Cheques for sold bicycles and/or other items shall be picked up during the designated cheque pick-up time on the swap day.
