Race Format and Schedule

The Schedule is tentative and will vary depending of number and ability of participants but here's what to expect.

1pm to 2pm: Practice

2pm to 2:30pm: Junior Practice (U16 and under)

2:30pm to 3pm: Open and Masters Practice

3pm: Race - U6, U12, U16, Open, Masters. Ladies race first in each category. Knock out Rounds: All top 4 finishers of any category with more than 2 riders will get a 2nd run. Best time wins.

4:30pm: Freeride competition

5pm : Awards

6pm: Optional après at Grist and Mash Brewery to celebrate the day.

Freeride competition details

Each athlete will have the whole pumptrack to themselves for 1 minute to perform tricks, doubles, transfers or any other exciting Prouesses. The winner will be determined by a judge. Prize for 1st place in each category. Open to both bikes and scooters.

Prize for fastest junior time of the day

Prize for fastest Adult (over 16) of the day.

Prize for best Freeride performance.

Registration

$5 per person per event. (Participants can register for different categories, open and trick for example.) Registration opens Wednesday October 8th at 8am and closes Wednesday October 15th 8pm. Participants are encouraged to send anecdotes or fun facts about themselves to Wannacycle@gmail.com for our announcer to share with the crowd.

2025 KTS Trail Pass required. If the participant does not have one, they may

A- go on KTS website and purchase one or

B- Pay $15 for a KTS Pumptrack pass during event registration (all proceeds towards maintenance)

2025 Freewheelers membership required (or a drop in single event Freewheelers only $5)

All bikes welcome , all wheel size welcome. (2 wheels only). 1 brake minimum mandatory

Scooters welcome for the freeride competition.

Helmets mandatory

All racers must be able to complete the course without assistance.

The Pumptrack will be closed to the public for the duration of the event, but spectators are welcome!
